C’Ville—Elizabeth (Libby) Frisz, 15 year old Waveland girl, was killed instantly and her father, Fabien Frisz, 45, was injured critically in a two car collision 10 miles southwest of here on State Road 234 Sunday morning.

Mr. Frisz received a head injury, multiple fractures of his left forearm, a back injury, a possible broken pelvis and internal injuries.
Three other persons were hurt in the accident. None are in serious condition, Culver Hospital officials said Sunday night.
Frisz and his two daughters were en route to the College Inn here, which they own, from their farm a half mile south of the Shades State Park.

Frisz apparently lost control of his car on a hill and started to skid sideways, forcing an oncoming car into the ditch on the right side of the road. Frisz’ car continued to turn sideways and hit the front end of a second oncoming car, driven by Clark, with its right side.

The right front door and door post on the Frisz machine took the full impact of the collision. Libby, who was riding in the front seat, was killed instantly.

A third car coming from the east managed to stop before striking the other two cars.
The three westbound cars were carrying 16 members of an Atlanta Sunday school class to the Shades for a picnic. Only Clark, the class teacher, and his wife were injured.

Driver of the first westbound car, which was forced into the ditch, was Gene Egler, 23, of Atlanta. Driver of the third car was Richard Overdorff, 21, of Tipton.

Frisz was manager and part owner of the Shades before it became a state park about a year ago.
Elizabeth Ann Frisz was born Jan. 21, 1934 at Terre Haute, but had lived most of her life near Waveland.
